WebRTC leak test

Video-call technology in your browser can reveal your real IP address even through some VPNs. This asks a Cloudflare STUN server what address it sees and compares it with the one above.

Your browser fingerprint

Each detail is common on its own, but together they can single out your browser among millions, and they work without cookies.

Combined fingerprint

A hash of everything above. Reload or come back tomorrow: if it hasn’t changed, any site can recognise you.

Reducing what you give away

A reputable VPN or Tor hides your IP address and location from the sites you visit, though the VPN provider can still see them. Firefox, Brave and uBlock Origin can stop WebRTC from exposing your addresses.

Tor Browser, Mullvad Browser and Brave make fingerprinting harder by making their users look alike or by randomising the details. Firefox’s strict tracking protection blocks known fingerprinting scripts.

Blocking trackers stops most of this from being collected in the first place. Test your blocker.
